The recent housing market and recession has caused financial stress for many local families. Families are struggling everywhere to make ends meet. When families end up short, it's hard to find the right advice. As someone that has personally experienced this with my family, I have the compassion and the understanding to your situation. I purchased my dream home in 2005 and when the market changed, I too was facing a reduction in income. Finding good solid information was tough to find. Everywhere I turned I was told to either foreclose or file bankruptcy. Neither one of these options sounded appealing. I spent countless nights researching and ultimately determined that a short sale was the best option for me. It was tough to sell our dream home but I can tell you that I'm on the path to rebuild and it feels good!
